I'm looking for Ophthalmology summer research programs. I have extensive experience working in Ophtho, with research. Any that particularly come to mind that arent' super competitive?

Is it better to do it through a program or independently with a PI? Should I email professors with my CV? Please let me know. Thank you.

Were you able to find any programs that you could share for future students?

It is such a small field. It will be tought to find summer ophthal research, or research in general, as a DO because these programs favor their home students or the ones with connections.
