Medical Ophtho Research as DO student

Any advice on how to find ophtho research as a DO student. there aren't any ophtho faculty but there are optometrists in the university.

Please do not think that optometry research is equivalent to ophthalmology.

You'll need to find ophthalmology research at another institution.

Optometry is very different than ophtho. You can use the interwebs to get emails and ask if you can assist with research. I emailed 50+ when I was looking. It's tough but can be done.
