Opinion on endovascular acute ischemic stroke interventions

As you may or may not know, there were two articles this past spring in NEJM that discussed the efficacy of endovascular stroke intervention (such as intra-arterial tPA and mechanical thrombectomy). They stirred up a lot of dialogue, especially in the IR community, and recently JVIR published an article discussing the studies. You can read the opinion for yourself here:
