I've never had it either!
Y'all are seriously missing out. Go to the grocery store, buy white bread, Fluff, and Nutella, and make yourself the World's Best Sandwich.

You know what I think tastes better than Nutella?

Someday I might try their other flavors... but I love this kind.
Yeah, I don't get it often. But once in a while, totally worth it.mmmmmmm
I've always wanted to try them but they are usually expensive

I prefer the white chocolate, but the dark is awesome too. They occasionally carry it at one of our local discount-y stores for about the price of regular PB, and I always stock up when I see it. 👍
👍Dark chocolate ANYTHING😎

HopefulAg's fault for posting the Nutella snack.
Stop destroying my world!Because Nutella is such a paragon of health!![]()
I don't think it even has to bring them into the related fields though. It's harder (all be it to different degrees with different people) to ignore something you've seen rather than something you don't know exists or is, to you, thousands of miles away and you'll never see.I think zoos and marine parks CAN have a positive function though. Just exposing people to the animals may bring a certain few to become interested enough to enter fields like veterinary medicine, conservation, etc.
I worked at an exotic petting zoo the summer after high school.
Did you used to work in Tijuana? Exactly how exotic was this 'petting zoo'?The owner also ran the local strip club
Damn! I must have really been hiding under a rock for quite some time because I have completely missed this thread! I only read half of the first page and the whole last page. First page is a debate about animal rights vs. animal welfare and the last page is talking about chocolate, bread, and peanut butter. I wish I had seen it earlier so I could have witnessed the entire transitions. Oh well, I am sure it is quite an entertaining thread.
Oh sure, it's always the male's fault. I see how it's gonna be.

Exotic petting, eh?Oh sure, it's always the male's fault. I see how it's gonna be.

Far from Tijuana! Wisconsin! Somehow she had a partnership with a "zoo." I don't know anything more than that, and it must not have been a very responsible zoo, but it was all baby animals. When I worked there the most exotic was a baby ringtailed lemur, also baby emus. The mentioned capuchin monkey was once of of those babies, so was the kinkajou on site. She regularly got baby tigers as well....so, pretty exotic. She had less exotic, wild animals as well including a skunk and deer that were like dogs (they looooved attention). And there was a camel that lived in a pen with a bunch of goats. He was actually pretty cool, loved getting scratches. And of course she had all the regular petting zoo fair to go with the mix. Donkeys, chickens, ducks, pot-bellied pigs, etc.
The main draw for the place was the performing horses. They would rear up and run around in a choreographed show for the kids--I only caught part of it once, because I was always working, but it was actually pretty cool. A couple of trained macaws had a show as well.
Not bad for a little touristy attraction, but looking back, I don't think the place should exist. Last I checked, it still does. I never actually witnessed any obvious mistreatment of the animals, but like I said, the intelligence required to care for them just wasn't there. I just can't believe it's in the best interest of a baby lemur to be pet by a gazillion school-aged children every day. And like I said before, the monkey was by herself. It's just not...right. 🙁

Ahahah yeah. I read through the first couple pages when this thread started and it just stressed me out + took too much time so I stopped. I'm only half listening to the Davis interview video and half browsing around, so I clicked on the last page here and was really confused that it now talked about chocolate. Now I'm hungry.
you two....don't you know if you stick with the depressing stuff it always gets better! If you get a chance read through the entire thing. I think it changes subjects more than once...lolHere is something I would love everyones opinion on.
Vet schools around the country are raising there admissions, some by 20 students, some by 40.... Anyway most of these schools just add out of staters-obviously because they pay more money and maybe in the hard economic times this is what vet school needs.
But here is one of the problems I see with this. All those extra students will eventually become vets, and in 4 or 5 year completely saturate the job market. I know that there is a shortage in food animal vets, but with SA and in many areas equine there are too many vets.
What do you guys think the job market will be like in 4 or 5 years? Is it going to be impossible to find a job? And if you do find a job is it going to be across the country and far from your family?
I have thought about this alot, Vet Med, and I agree that there are already too many SA clinics. I just spent an hour calling all the vets in my area to see if they do LA and only 1/3 of them did. and even one that did referred me to another because they rarely have LA cases anymore. I think there should be more food animal/large animal veterinarians, but it is not as desireable and that is why there are more SA than LA/FA vets. I personally would love to have a LA practice, but I have recently been mentally leaning to equine only. But that will not help the FA side of things, which is the what I gave in my interview for a career path. The problem I might have is boredom in FA. IDK....
sorry for not really answering any of your questions

I think the reason there are a lot of SA clinics is becasue there is a lot of DEMAND.QUOTE]
Maybe....I know that all the ones around here keep semi busy....they also do most of the boarding around this area. So if there is a holiday and you need to board your animal while you are gone on said holiday, you had better make an early reservation, because the vet clinics fill up fast!!! So that part is definately needed for sure.
Dude...I think I just got the joke. Hahahaha oh well I'm too nervous waiting for this friggin admission letter give me some slack
My recent obsession is beignets filled with Nutella. Dangerous, dangerous pastries.

I had to look up what beignets were.... oh man, they look AWESOME![]()

Cut banana in half. Add Nutella, wrap in tin foil, bake for a few minutes. Add whipped cream and eat. Nom!
Similar, but not quite as rich.😱 You guys I just had an epiphany.
I know I said I've never had Nutella, but is it similar to the creamy filling in side Ferrero Rocher candy 🙂love🙂???
