Hi all,

Just took my Opted practice and my real test is Tuesday the 19th. Like others have said, I did WAY better on Opted than on my Kaplan practice tests. However, I still have some questions. My chemistry needs work.

#43 in Gen Chem

How can I determine the coefficient for A? I was able to figure out B and C by thinking .6moles of reactant B X mol C/mol B= .4 mol C.

Thanks and good luck to everyone 🙂

Well.. Im not sure if I am correct but the way I did it was:
1) Multiply all the values by 10.. therefore you had 6 moles of A and 6 moles of B and 4 moles of C.. since 0.2 moles of A were left over (2 moles), that means that 4 moles did react.. therefore, 4A + 6B --> 4C.. then reduce: 2A+3B-->2C
Again, I don't think this is the way to figure it out.. but it worked.. lol.. My test is on the 20th.. so I'm in the freaking out period
