i think this question has come up before, but for some reason i was unable to find a straight answer. does anyone know when the optimal time for people still waitlisted to reapply is?

Because of the lag time between submission of the primary and verification (ca. 1 month), I'd suggest submitting the primary asap and assigning only 1 school. By the time it is verified, it will be very late in the past year's waitlist season and the chances of getting in off the waitlists is close to null. Then you can add as many more schools as you want.

Yup, I agree with these folks. I am a reapplicant, and I submitted my primary in early to mid-June. When you think about it, if you DO happen to get in for the past cycle, that extra 400 or so dollars you spent on a primary just in case will seem trivial when you look at your financial spreadsheets for your M.D.

June 4th (might wanna jump on it asap)
