So the April 30th deadline where people w/ multiple MD acceptances have to decide on a single school is coming up soon, and I'm just wondering what the best time to send in a letter of interest to schools I'm waitlisted at is - before or after that date, and does it make a difference?

Also, is it necessary to mention the name(s) of other schools you've already been accepted at, or sufficient to just say you've been accepted elsewhere?

bump.. what's a good time to send update+letters of interest if you're waitlisted?

Agreed with Jack. You can send one but this late in the game your rank is likely sealed. Just be patient, if it was meant to be it will be.

If it's an unranked WL and you're already holding an acceptance at a better or a similarly ranked school, then I would think a letter usually helps. Why wouldn't it?
Given that it's April 26th, as soon as possible. It is unlikely that such letters will make a difference, in any case.
