Hi all, Ive been seeing alot of optional extra comment boxes in my secondary application. I really dont have much more to say, but should I try to add something? If so, what have u guys tend to write about.. I felt amcas was pretty thorough and dont want to fill up space for no reason

Generally, optional comments are your opportunity to tell them something awesome about yourself that wasn't addressed (or not addressed in the way you like) on the rest of the application. A lot of people see it as non-optional, myself included, but if you really, really can't think of anything and feel like you're adding something just for the sake of adding it in, that could hurt you as well.
