I'm sorry but i can't tell the difference. I mean they seem like the same thing.

is there anyother option besides this two.

those are the same thing. other way to go is discipline based. They both accomplish the exact same thing and neither one is better. Most schools tend to be a mix of both. The only way i can see it mattering is for step 1 studying: u might want to study by discipline if u've learning by system, and vice versa. give u a different perspective.

An organ system based curriculum teaches you everything by organ, e.g. kidney, lung, heart.

A discipline based curriculum teaches you everything by subject, e.g. pathology, anatomy, physiology.

A PBL based curriculum teaches you everything by cases.
