HAHAHA, nevermind. Got it. Thanks Raiden for the push to notice my dumb mistake.

Hey everyone, I was just wondering what you would get for this question and if you could explain why, please? It's a quick question, promise.

The products of the reduction of 4-tert-butal-cyclohexanone are:

A. mostly R with some S
B. mostly S with some R
C. meso
D. achiral

(This is from an online practice passage on the TPR's online portal.)

I'll post the answer soon, 🙂.

Did you mean tert-butyl? Cause I am not sure what tert-butal is lol. Sorry my orgo isn't that strong.

And is the answer achiral? 0_o

Haha, yes, tert-butyl whoops. And 😱... oh my gosh, yes, I just realized how stupid my mistake was, lol. Thanks for making me think to draw it again. Literally saw it as soon as it was down on paper.
