I've taken Orgo I and currently enrolled in Orgo II but obviously I'll only receive a small portion of lecture for Orgo II since the PCAT is in like 10 days. The Kaplan organic section is horrible and I do not have Collins, what would be the best way to study for orgo II?

I really appreciate any feedback, thanks.

somebody correct me if i'm wrong but i've heard the organic II of the chem section is miniscule and that it's mostly gen chem and organic I. i've only began the studying so i can't say for sure.

honestly, with the test coming up in less than 10 days, i'd say your best bet is to review everything you already know which is huge amount of that section anyway. good luck! 🙂

I wouldn't worry about Organic II at all. The vast majority is gen chem anyway, and what isn't is mostly Organic I.

What I would suggest is to focus on what ever you learned so far and not to worry about orgoII. It is better to play safe as you don't have many days left. Take it easy, no need to stress. If you can, just go slightly over orgoII. Good luck for pcat.. let us know how you did

Good advise.

I think alot of people have trouble finishing chem since it is 48 questions in 30 minutes. As part of your final studying, take some time to practice the calculations by hand. These days we are so reliant on calculators that some struggle when they can't use one and therefore get slowed down because of the math needed to answer some of the Gen Chem quesions. My biggest tip is to convert decimals to fractions. This makes multiplication and division much simpler.
