E. ClCH2NH2

2. Which of the following is (are) considered terminal functional groups?

1) D. Contains the smallest # of electronegative/electron withdrawing groups.

2) B. look in any organic text. carboxylic acids and aldehydes always appear at the end of a molecule and are thus terminal.

i thought for #1 it would be A. C6H5NH2 Aromatic ring with a electron donating group...

For #1, choice D would be correct because the Carbon group is the most electron donating as a result of which decreases acidity the most and therefore will be the most basic right? Is my line of reasoning correct?
