got a C in O-chem II. Guess what I'm doing this summer?

40% is pretty brutal. I was disgusted that mine was weighted at .33

So what you're saying is basically no one got even close to an A in your class?
 
I finished Ochem 2 last week. The final mentally raped me as well. There were classmates of mine actually crying during the final. I'm so glad its over with.
 
I just finished my organic II final. And by finished, I mean slaughtered.

I got my OrgoII grade 2 days ago, people sent a mass text saying grades online, we were expecting it to be online a day later, but the prof got it done quicker than he expected, I got an A for the course, a B+ on the final (the website is closed right now, I cant check indvid grades), but I did well enough on each individual exam to get a B+ on the final and still get an A. No curve, highest was 98 ! I went to see my exam, I wrote on my exam what questions I thought I was going to get wrong, and lmao I got every question I said I was going to get wrong , wrong, the surprising part was I got one question I didn't intend on getting wrong, wrong.

To be honest, OrgoII = Best class ever.
</3 I am done with Orgo forever. (till the 25% section on the MCATS)

I got a B in OrgoI, A in OrgoII. Hoping my upward trend looks good.

Agreed, I just started studying a few days ago and took a Kaplan practice exam. Organic I and II are still fresh in my mind and the test barely asks O-Chem stuff. Instead a quarter of the material seems to be Gen Chem and I remember absolutely nothing. :smack:

And to comment on some other posts...wow..your finals are crazy. The class average for our O-Chem II final was an 81%. I still only managed a B+ in the class but meh...

Orgo versus chem is kinda like geometry versus trig back in high school. You are either good at one or the other. Few are good at both.
