It’s a fairly straightforward exam. prepping for it shouldn’t take you all that long. 3-4 weeks of a couple of hours a day is more than enough. Best resource and cheapest ($5 a month) is gregmat.com. Practice Qs that use official material. Strategy videos. Videos teaching math. High quality.

You would be limiting your options quite a bit especially if you’re serious about specializing in ortho.
