From the website OSU requires "English First course (freshman Eng)" and "Advanced can be any upper level course Composition that involves writing"

Would English 001 and English 002 satisfy both of these requirements? I'm just not sure since I don't know if English 002 is considered an upper level course. Thanks everyone!

Would a course that is offered to freshman students be considered "upper level course"?

Hmm. If I had to guess, then I'd say, probably not. That being said, have you already applied to OSU? Why don't you wait and see if you get invited to interview and then worry about whether or not your English prereqs are complete? You can always call and ask 🙂

Thanks for the advice. I'm also taking a upper level science course, which is also my writing intensive graduation requirement. Hopefully one of them counts. If I get an interview then I guess I'll just ask them about it. No point in worrying about one of the many schools I applied to.
