Hi all!
I met the requirements to apply for the Ohio State University Fellowship, and was wondering if any former/current applicants or current OSU students have any guidance as to whether or not to apply. OSU is my top choice, but this seems like a lot to ask of my recommenders, and it's unclear how much of a chance I'd have of getting the fellowship.
Does anyone know how many OT students get the fellowship a year? (Would also love any other info people might have about the OSU acceptance process!)

For reference, here are my stats:

Undergrad GPA: 3.7
Post-bacc GPA: 4.0
OSU Pre-Req GPA: 3.69
GRE: V-164, Q-167, W-4.5

B.A. in Psychology, Minor in Neuroscience

Extracurriculars:
  • Social skills group for local teens with autism (3 years, 1 year as leadership)
  • A cappella group (4 years, 2 years as manager, 1 year as music director)
  • Student-run musical theater group (1 year)
Observations: 41 hours (18 hours in adult rehab hospital, 23 in outpatient pediatric - cut short by COVID-19), 16 hours of additional exploration of OT
Work experience:
  • Dining center staff (3 school years)
  • Caregiver for woman with a disability (1 school year)
  • Psychology practicum at daycare/early intervention center for children with autism (1 semester)
  • Day camp staff for teens with disabilities (2 summers)
  • Day camp supervisor for teens with disabilities (2 summers)
  • Transition specialist in Project SEARCH and Pre-Employment Transition Services (1 year)

Did you hear back about the fellowship? I applied as well and am curious about numbers. Are you going to OSU?
