Those of you who have applied or been accepted at OSU this year, did you have all the pre-reqs done at the time of application?
Does that have a bearing on the Interview decision?

Hey you Kr... 😀

At the time of application you need to have 2/3 of the required pre-req courses finished. If you don't have 2/3 fulfilled then you won't even be considered for an interview flat out. Once you fulfilled 2/3, you're safe. You won't be "penalized" for having not completed the other 1/3.

Here is the list of prereq courses needed for OSU:

Biology 1
Biology 2
Gen Chem 1
Gen Chem 2
Org Chem 1
Org Chem 2
Physics 1
Physics 2
Microbiology - 1 semester
Biochemistry - 1 semester
Anatomy - 1 semester (2 semesters if it is a combined Anatomy & Physiology course)

So, in order for you to get considered for OSU, you need to have fulfilled 8 of the 11 classes mentioned above by the time you apply.

Thanks a lot man 😀
I had to make sure that my chances for an interview and eventually acceptance are not going to be discounted by the fact that I do not have all the pre-reqs completed at the time of the application (I have 2/3 of the pre-reqs).

To be honest with you, if I do not get interviewed/accepted at OSU, I will not do the other 1/3 of the courses, as they are not req. at any other school that I am applying to.

Peace.
