I read on this forum something about ot being able take a test and receive their manual therapy certification. Is there any truth to this? Thanks

not that they are the source, but it's good enough for now...

OT isn't mentioned in there.... not suprisingly (a rip that we don't advocate ourselves very well :mad:)

That can be an all encompassing term.


Someone w/ a cert in one of those specialities, can use them within the scope of their particular license, for a particular purpose. I imagine that there are some on that list that aren't practical or legal for a particular discipline to practice in a particuar jusdiction. (i.e. chiropractors can make adjustments to the spine where PT's cannot. OT's cannot do light/heat therapy in NY but can in CT.) It can be a mess of who is lobbying harder, this week.
