You read a book nonpharmacy, nonmedical related?

Been over a year for me. I was looking forward to reading Operation Dark Heart, but the Pentagon bought all the copies that were out there and destroyed them.

Apparently, the book (a memoir of an ex-espionage agent) went into too many details on how the government operated abroad with black op agencies, espionage, special forces, etc. So they're making the publisher make changes until they are satisfied.

They must have overlooked these:

i read different books all the time. the latest is "The girl with dragon tattoo" trilogy. i cant get enough of it and saddened the author Steig Larson is dead and the planned 10 book series wont happen. swedish version of the movie is out but hollywood is making a movie now.

hopefully like Ludlum books, others will write the rest.

Prior to killing myself studying BCPS stuff, I read a book every week or two. I don't watch a whole lot of TV since pharmacy school (couldn't afford cable) so I read instead.

I need to pick out a few new books to take on vacation with me. Books + beach + margarita = bliss.

It's an oldie but a goody

I read the instruction manual for my car stereo because I had to reset the clock a week or so ago. Does that count?

Yes, but you are in violation of Code 92 in Man Law.

"No man shall ever read an instruction manual. If the man does not know how to use the item, trial and error shall be used until the correct function is determined."

I'm not a man, I'm a god. But only one of those smaller, insignificant ones. Like Penthus or something.

Yesterday! But I'm in PhD school, so I may not count. Nowadays I tend to read children's books, and my latest obsession is the Septimus Heap books by Angie Sage. I'm currently on the third book in the series.

I usually read in the evenings, even though that usually means I'm a mess the next day due to not getting enough sleep.

B gave a great cliff's notes version of "The Giving Tree". You should check it out.

All the time.

Have any of you got a Kindle or Ipad.? If so, how do you find them in practice.

The Honor Harrington Series - by David Weber

He has over 10 books in the series not counting short stories and is my absolute favorite author. I would highly recommend his series if you are looking into military science fiction. Some would compare his series to those about Horotia Hornblower. Enjoy.
