Okay, so I'm Treasure of the Optometry Club.

Why? Well, my friend needed the position filled to start her new club on campus and I needed officer position to put down on the apps, so I took it to help us both out. (I now hold 3 officer positions)

Of course, I'm not an officer of the Pre-Pharm club, they don't open any position every year, unless someone left, disappeared or got accepted. And they haven't and don't want to create any new ones. I wish it was better regulated, but whatever, should have taken any stupid position back then when no one wanted it and pharmacy wasn't popular. Anyways, here is the problem:

I'm not sure if I want to put that I am Treasure of another discipline on my applications.
How would you think the Admissions Committee look at this?
Either they think I'm confused/not serious or they see that I have some experiences as an officer of several clubs and sorority.

what would you do? put it down or leave it out?

You should list it, I think. It is an extracurricular, and you don't want to omit something that they find out about later on their own. You can explain it as having an interest in health care and not being able to get an officer position in your field but still wanting to become more involved. Don't mention that you did it as a favor to your friend, but do list it as an officer position because it's still leadership experience.

I mean, if you were president of the cheese club or secretary of the massive multiplayer online gaming guild, you would list that, right?

since you have other positions of leadership, i would leave it out

Since you have other leadership positions, I would leave out the optometry club position. It may bring up red flags in the minds of the admission committee and will most definitely be brought up at interviews. ** sorry for double post, thought server was stuck
