Out of date LORs?

I'm not even going to bother applying to Kcumb, but do any other schools (MD & DO) state this:

"Letters must be dated within two years of matriculation year (i.e., if starting classes at KCU in August 2018, letters must be dated no earlier than May 2016)"

COM Requirements

I have one letter that is two years old, and I'm wondering if I should ask him to re-write/re-submit my LOR to interfolio, so it isn't outdated when I apply this upcoming cycle 2018-2019.

I’m sort of in the same boat. I’m applying for 2018-2019 cycle but I got most of my faculty letters submitted to interfolio summer of 2017 (I didn’t want my teachers to forget me). I’ve always heard as long as it’s within 3 years it should be fine though.

Yeah I have 3 LORs from Summer 2016.
