hello,
I have what some might consider a good enough EC but the problem is most of my shadowing and volunteering experiences were done overseas

for example I shadowed a surgeon and a gynecologist overseas and I do not know how to list those hours or whether they should count toward my shadowing experiences

Also,On my Personal Statement, if I state that the reason I am going to medical school is because I want to work at at a third world country which would mean that I will only earn my degree from the U.S. then I will move to a different country , will this be frowned upon? (since I will not be giving back to the U.S.)

It's not a problem that your experiences were overseas. Just list them as usual. Your interest in global health isn't a liability for admissions committees, I just wouldn't stress the "move to a different country" angle. Unless you have significant (read: more than 6 months, total) experience overseas, you'll come across as naive a la "Eat, Pray, Love." Instead, express your interest in global health and/or health policy, if that's where your interests lie.

thank you
