Palmtop Computer, or Palm Pilot?

Palm Pilots are still more numerous, and have more software available. They are also a bit cheaper for many models.

But damn if handheld computers aren't super cool.

That being said, they also have the power of Microsoft behind them, and lots of questionably working microsoft software titles. I'm sure things will get better. And frankly, it just makes sense. They have the potential to be so much more flexible.

Admittedly I'm biased. I just want everyone else's opinion.

Totally agree. Pocket PCs have a lot more power and much more potential for software than any of Palms current offerings. That isn't to say Palm might bring out a new machine to rival the Pocket PCs. There's also nothing to say that palms might one day swap to the PPC OS.

I also agree.. I just got the iPaq and it is very sweeeet! I like how I can write out a whole sentence and it get transcribed, while with the palmpilots, you have to write it letter by letter. I can't wait for more software coming out.

Any of you use a blackberry? Is it worth it to get the wireless internet connection for a PDA??
