What is a mediotrusive movement? I know laterotrusive but the mediotrusive thing is stumping me.

Which root surface on a mandibular 1 molar doesnt exhibit a longitudinal groove?
a. mesial surface of mesial root
b. distal surface of mesial root
c. mesial surface of distal root
d. distal surface of distal root

Thanks in advance.

mediotrusive refers to the direction/action of the non-working side. When performing a Left-laterotrusive movement....the right side is simultaneously performing a mediotrusive movement.

the distal surface of the distal root has NO concavity.

hope that helps..
