hi freinds the following ques have been asked in some of the previous threads but have not been answered with explanation and there have been different responses but couldnt come in to conclusion so if u guys can help with this ,it would be great

1.where does submandibular duct open?

2.where do sublingual duct open in to?

3.what does serous demilunes secrete(serous or mucus)and where does it secrete in to?

4.is prevetolle intermedia detected during adolescence or at the time or immediately before the periodontal disease?

5.where does mandibular 1st premolar drain in to ?

6.is dentin or cementum more histologically similar to bone?

1)Sub-mandibular duct opens onto the summit of sub-lingual papilla.

2)Sub-lingual duct opens on the sub-lingual fold near sub-lingual papilla.

3)Serous demilunes secrete serous (absent in parotid).

6)Cementum resembles bone histologically (cementoblasts,cementocytes like osteoblasts,osteocytes).

1) sub mand opens in sub lingual papilla.
2) i guess sublinguall too opens in sub lingual papilla.. its the gland tat is present at sublingual fold.
3) serous dimulines secrete serous cause they r serous cells
5)mand 1st pm in sub lingual gland because its roots do not lie beneath mylohyoid muscle, if roots r beneath mylohyoid like 2 nd 3 molars, then sub mand gland.
Correct me if i m wrong.
6) its cementum more similar to bone
