I am not sure, but maybe because in anxious patients epinephrine will increase which will cause constriction in blood vessels so increase in resistance and decrease in compliance. i hope this is correct.😕

yeah..even i think it is beacuse of sympathetic stimulation.if there is decreased arterial compliance how can there be increased systolic pressure?
