part 1 score 80

hi,
i got a part one score of 80.
well this was may first time,and i can not even retake it anymore.
i want your openion on this score( keeping in mind that now as people wont be able to retake so the there wont be much 90s out there).
what should i do to add to my chance of admission....?

Volunteer/get a job as a dental assistant, add to your resume. Try to get a research position. Try doing CE courses w/ hands on.

I would say
1.Part 2.
2.Attend workshop/continuing education in a dental school (you got to pay for this).
3.Get into Master program.
4.Go for DA job.

pls dnt panic ,80 is not a bad score as noone will be able to retake the exam anymore ,u can always improve ur cv by doing volunteer jobs , dental assistant job,ce courses and above all get recommendation letters from the dentist whereever u worked in usa ,as this will give an impression that u r willing to progress further in dentistry .

if u live anywhere near to dental school , pls visit the respective person and get the permission to do observtionship ..

suppose after part two i still have time what should i go for...mph or dental hygien?which one you think looks good on resume and improves chances of acceptance...?THANX
