Regarding ur first question....

given the half life is 4 hours and the pt being given 2 grams every 4 hours by when the prvious dose will be half of the original. So add the half of previous dose and the 2 gram given then.(I am afraid whether its clear)
After 4 hours of giving the first dose 1 gram is remaining in the body and so after 2nd dose, the 1gram of previous + 2 of then=3
next after the 3rd dose 1.5 of 3 grams +2 grams of then=3.5.

Hello everyone,
Thanks Krishna for the answer for the first question by Jackie. I am also having the same problem in solving the second question of fluoridation by Jackie. If anyone could explain the calculation method involved i shall be highly grateful to that person. Thanks once again in advance.

Wich of the following tumors has the best prognosis in tems of patient survival?
A-Osteosarcoma
B-Melanoma
C-Ameloblastoma
D-Adenocarcinoma

I think that it's -C-. What do you think????

Hi,
Hanan, I think Answer is correct Bcoz rest all r malignant & ameloblastoma is Benign.Ameloblastoma thou is invasive But malignant conditions have less survival Rate than Benign since malignancy is a cancerous condition. If i m wrong ,pliz correct me.Thanks.
