MSBI (Manhattan)
MSSLR (Mount Sinai West in Manhattan)
NSLIJ
Mount Auburn
Winthrop

Prefer the academic oriented, mid-large size programs. Really liked the top 3 programs overall. Any thoughts?

I think you have it in the order I would rank them. Maybe move NSLIJ above SLR.

What were your thoughts on SLR on interview day? The whole process was quite formal and I guess the residents pick the incoming class.

Do you really think GWU is better than MSBI? I was thinking of maybe ranking MSBI above GWU...

Thought the format was unnecessary and a little annoying. I didn't think I would mesh well with the PD if I were a resident there, which ultimately limits how high I'm willing to rank it. The residents there seemed pretty cool though and the location and housing is terrific.

I'm thinking of ranking GWU over BI mostly because its a university program versus a university affiliate, not necessary the strength of the program. I could live in either city and both are in great parts of town. I could understand someone ranking BI higher if they wanted to be in NYC >DC.

I didn't interview at winthrop or mount auburn so I can't comment on those.

Thanks for the input! I do agree about the interaction with the PD...didn't even get to interview personally with him.
