Hi guys. I just heard from ppl that some dental schools that have P/F systems like UCLA / UCSF still have rankings when they apply for specialties.

Is this true? Where can I find the definite answer??

Yeah, they kind of keep track of how you did. This comes into play when you get your LOR from the school. I think USC is one of the few schools that just doesn't rank at all. UConn doesn't rank, but LOR states your performance.

Unless there's a secret ranking they don't tell us about at UCSF, I can tell you with a good amount of certainty that we do not have rankings.
