Has anyone tried the PASS program's Medical School Head Start Program?

Why are you asking premeds?

The program is meant for accepted pre-meds before starting med school. I can't speak for whether this is a worthy financial investment for someone about to take out huge loans for med school in the near future. I personally have never heard of the program.

My own opinion would be to spend your time doing things unrelated to med school instead of this; med school will occupy enough of your time once it starts, and you really won't have much time off going forward.

I second this. I'm a first year and spent part of my summer being paid by my school to do a prematriculation program. It was little to no benefit. Just enjoy your time off before school starts.

Apparently it's a board prep school for people who couldn't pass their Step - founded by an "icon in education and visionary leadership" I'd never heard of.
