Hello all,

I was just wondering, I submitted on 11/1, and I checked the status of my application online, and they have yet to be sent out to the schools. I know that there is nothing that I can do, but how do you guys pass the time?

also, after the schools receive the primary, is 2-4 weeks an accurate time frame for them to send out the secondaries?

:wow: :scared: 😱 :scared: 😱 😕 😡 :wow:

you can get a start on the secondaries if you are so inclined. if you do a search various people have posted the essay questions or links to secondary applications. This way you're all set to go once you've received secondaries.

I also encourage you to go ahead and complete the secondaries as well. Sooner you send it back, better your chances are for interview.

Yup, many of them are available online! Many of the questions ask the same things but in different ways, enabling you to use many of the same ideas. So, formulating answers sooner will allow you to complete secondaries faster when you recieve them.

I wish I had good news for you, but I submitted on Oct. 13th, and I have still not been processed either 🙁

thanks for the support. I already have downloaded the secodaries for a few schools, but I was wondering about the secondaries for CCOM, DMU, MSU-COM, KCUMB, NYCOM (they only provide secondaries during the interviews right?) PCOM, OSU-COM, PCSOM (after some research on the website, they send you one whenever they recieve the results from the primary)!

Or do these schools send you the information themselves?

Hey guys......maybe I'm just being neurotic, but I submitted on Oct. 13th, and I have still not been processed!! I know I should have done it earlier, but I didn't 🙁 Has anyone who submitted in October been processed yet? Do you think I should shoot an email to AAOMCAS?

Also, I'm really looking at DMU and KCUMB most seriously right now. Does anyone know when they typically fill their classes up? I have competitive stats, but I just feel so late in the game. I have also read that last year DMU started giving out acceptances for the following year since they were full 🙁

Thanks for any help!

Well once AACOMAS process your file, it should move through DMU very fast. I took MCAT in august, scores came out october 13th, got email from DMU for interview on 10/19 and already got acceptance. DMU is very fast with applications.

crazygal email aacomas.I know it says it takes 4-6 weeks but it normally takes 2-3 weeks to process it. mine was processed in like 2 and a half weeks. Just keep them aware of your situation.

Best of luck

I did not get my secodnaries in until first week of december last year...interviewed Jan 9...accepted Jan 14th. Hang in there. It is far from too late. We had people admitted in July in my class. I would most definitely get those secondaries done now so you can just drop them in the mail when the invite arrives. :luck: :luck: :luck:

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help!

I emailed AACOMAS last night, and surprise, this morning I was processed! I would advise anyone who has waited at least a few weeks to do the same.

And I have all my secondary questions answered, so let's just hope they come soon.......thanks again to all who helped me out!
