PAT Edge of a circle or rectangle?

For this problem, how can you tell whether it is A or B? More accurately, how can tell whether it is the edge of a cylinder or the edge of a rectangle?

The front view has curve up which match to A. B just has a straight line which doesn't match the front view. Sorry if this doesn't make sense I don't know how else to word it hah
