Bauer will be back, but puppy #2 has consumed much of my time and energy. 😀
 
Gah. I am over half way through my paper that is due on tuesday. (I have to finish it because I have 4 chapters of regression analysis to read and understand before my midterm on tuesday!) eeek

I will drop this bit of info to any resident looking to get a dog. A few of my classmates had to give theirs up.

Consider.. You WILL be on Call, you need a doggie door or something, and food for the dog. This is much easier if you have a roomie or SO. Bigger dogs need excercise so if you arent home for 32-36 hours then.. consider...

This will certainly depend on where I end up. The best case scenario for a pup would be if I end up at Harbor. The family I live by will be breeding bulldogs and have promised me one of the pups. If I'm there, my dog would be spending a great deal of time with its parents.

Time is slow right now, but not too painful. Although every now and then my stomach turns in a knot knowing the match is done and my fate is set. It's cool catching up with friends at Sinai (bunch of us there) and finding out where they wanna go.

Yeah much like last yr.. heck even during my very late Sub-i people were around and since everyone is chillin it is a lot of social time which is nice esp with people who you didnt hang with my before and of course old friends who you havent seen in 6 months!

Yeah a few. Not a ton of people did though. Mostly just celebrated with friends and then with alcohol. Bottom line.. few did do your thing. Maybe 25-40% did.

Well my parents aren't coming. My GF is having her mom come out, cuz otherwise her mom would be on a plane and unreachable as she opens her envelope. She was wondering if she should come out, and I told her I'm sure some people had parentals there.

Obviously I am years away, but I think I'll have my parents come because whenever I've gotten good news they've been the one to know it first, so it's a bit of a superstition thing. They said they'd be happy to get lost for the alcoholic festivities afterwards 🙂.
 
I thought about my mom coming out. But I much rather celebrate with my friends cuz they are the only ones that will truly understand the hell we all endured to get to that moment. Graduation, on the other hand, is more of a family event. It's not as important to me as match day.

yeah parental units (PUs) will be there. if she wants bring her mom she wont be the only one. FWIW my PUs were not there. I didnt think it was worthwhile but everyone is different.
