Exactly. My opinion is that match day is for me and Graduation was more like a thank you to those who supported me like my parents and family etc.
 
Now I've always loved Star Wars (yes, including the most recent episodes), but HBO is overplaying them like crazy. On any given day, you can catch at least 3 of the 6 episodes.

Padding is about to slow down though.. taxes, a paper i need to write, and life will be taking over my time soon. Oh and studying.. EKGs Tintinalli etc.
 
Let me just say that I was hugely skeptical about this whole PDA thing before I bought one. My b/f convinced me too, though, and I LOVE IT. I think I like mine more than he likes his (which is identical). I now have an ectopic brain, and can make more room in my brain for things like path and pharm!

Do we think black beans will go well in Mexican-style hamburger helper? Yeah...neither do I, but it seemed like a fabulous idea for the 30 seconds it took me to open the can and dump it in the mixture...

The Treo 700p is the best PDA ever!

It was no worse than regular hamburger helper, the only problem is that the beans made it a lot more food. I will now have to endure it for four meals instead of 3....
 
I got a trial phone/pda. Figured I'd get a good one when I needed it, but I will use this one to learn from (learn how to use it and mess it up).

That's what sucks about it, I'd have to switch from Verizon. I used to work for Cingular when they were WAY behind on technology with the phones, now they get all the cool stuff.

My reluctance with combining my phone/PDA is that I like to toss my phone in a little clutch or purse when I'm going out for the night - impossible with a smartphone. I'm also afraid that I might lose it after a night of imbibing - and that would have expensive consequences!

Yes..this is very true. The one I bought though, was as much as a regular phone would have cost me, so I figured I wasn't losing much by getting some experience with the technology (I am usually a bit slow when it comes to that stuff). About losing the phone...definitely a concern...I would lose all my phone numbers...I should get put on my computer.
 
B/C I'm such a great guy, I'm waiting for my gf to get home from her EM shift to watch LOST. Keep in my mind that it's my favorite show.

I think so...the prices may be 15 a month (or that may be for the generation 3 tivos). Regardless, I don't have the actual tivo brand/service. I just rent a DVR from comcast which does the same thing and costs 10 bucks a month.

I love my treo. I strayed for a while a few months ago and bought an unlocked razr. The thing is so worthless (bad reception, lemon battery). The thing that sucks is that I bought it off ebay and essentially got screwed on it. But, I found services online that buy back used phones. I can nearly recoup my cost by sending that one in and another phone I got for free that's been sitting around since I got my treo. I love my treo though. 👍
 
hmm i think it woudl only cause me to spend even more time sitting and watching tv.. But maybe when i become an attending..
 
You can buy lifetime tivo cards online if you want as well. They got rid of it through them, but you can pay a little more on the back end.

$700 isn't bad, but you have to wonder how long this product will last (before something newer and better comes out). Now, had you bought lifetime in 2000, you would be bank.
 
I got the tmobile mda for free. Love it. I refuse to spend $1 on a phone.. When i am an attending maybe my tune will change!

yeah but in 2000 who knew if this would flop? Remember those dvd things circuit city had that would let you watch a movie 3 times.. or beta.. with great risk comes great reward..

I think it only applies to the tivo you bought though. If you got a new one/upgraded, you couldn't transfer that lifetime card. I don't trust that...what if it breaks?

I spend less time watching (well except for this period of time) b/c you skip out on the commercials and just watch what you want. Trust me, it's true (well except for 4th year).
 
Hmm maybe.. FWIW Im done reading the posts in the NHC thread. Ill just throw a few things in here and there. It did generate 30-50 posts per day though. I just wish it would die now. I know how i feel and i just cant believe people feel differently. Well i can I just think it is uninformed and maybe a little too idealistic.
 
Interesting debate and points in there...threads like that just run around in circles...hence my occasional posts that try to conjure up a laugh or two?

BTW...why do people find Dane Cook funny? He sucks.
 
Yeah i think peoples minds wont be changed at this point. I think if change will be made it will be gradual. I guess it boils down to some basic beliefs and those are difficult to change. Thats whats interesting about those threads. the question asked really doesnt matter but what really does is your own personal belief system!
 
I have nothing but the internet to rely on for shows to watch. Even then, plenty of options, and free!!!
 
Free...because I don't even pay for my internet (not yet anyway). I'm guessing these people are going to move in August, and leave me with nothing. Oh well...living it up while I can!
 
Another night of call for the VFD. Not a single call. Bah.
