The military ruined them for me.

I plan to avoid every ceremony I can from now on......

.....with the notable exception of my wedding of course.

White coat ceremony? *scoffs* I'll drink ipecac to get out of it.

Medical school graduation? I'll think of a way to get out of it, even if it means faking a death in my family.

I have agreed to go to my graduation for my RT bachelors at the University of Kansas in a couple of years.....only because Holly effectively demands that I do so.....

...it'll be weird though because it's a distance ed thing (in addition to my other bachelors which will be on-campus somewhere LOL), so that will be the first time I'm on the campus.

Sick day from rads? 😉

I'd rather go! At least I can socialize over there. I'm bored of my apartment, and there are still 2 weeks left until this antzy feeling finally goes away.

Sweet...I'm on pace to hit 4k by match day. Hey it rhymes!

Is it bad that I'm actually posting FROM pulmonary clinic?

Is it worse that I just can't bring myself to care? Helllooooo senioritis.

Nah, not bad at all.

I almost had time to post from work last night.

I worked the MN - 8a shift.

Not a bad night, as night shifts go.

The ER census never got above 100.

Which is good, 'cause when the census gets above 120, life gets harder.

But for most of the night, the census stayed below 50, which was freaking amazing.

Used to be, waits at my hospital averaged 6hours in non RSV, non gastro season. And parents complained. With a 6 hour wait, who wouldn't?

Now that the waits are down to around 2 hours DURING gastro season and they still complain. Can't please anyone these days!

At the peds ed i am at this month anything around an hour and people wig out. Thats the downside of dealing with those who have insurance.

The congestion in my head is increasing as we speak. No fun!

I miss senioritis.

I'm watching a movie with gymnastics as the center piece. Think "Bring It On" meets the balance beam. What is this world and my boredom coming to?

Fair enough!

On another topic... anyone already have their house up for sale? We put ours on the market about a month ago and I'm already sick of the whole process. The house has to be spotless ALL the time and we get 1 or 2 calls evert other day about people wanting to come see it. That means we have to leave for an hour, which is a huge pain for me and my wife. We have a baby too, so its tough packing him up and going somewhere all of the time.

Anyone else in the process of selling their place?

Worst....movie....ever!

Done with pulm clinic!

Next time I see a patient, I'll be an intern. SCARY.

I wish I were so lucky. I start my medicine sub-I on Monday and know that I'm about to get worked like a government mule.

Ironically enough, the band Government Mule has a song called "Thorazine Shuffle".

Wait, we are supposed to *see* patients?

I feel ya. I've been on "vacation" for the last 3 weeks and I still have 3 weeks left of this before I end my med school career with my required medicine sub-i. I really don't know how I'm going to be able to survive those last 4 weeks.

The days are really starting to drag..............🙁
