where is the padding? Someone with thoughts.

For the PE afebrile HR ~100 O2 sat 100% on RA RR about 50 Deep in and out no peripheral edema slightly pale appearing. Bilat crackles at the bases (prior to albuterol)

Are you kidding!! This is a huge day in college football! Upsets all over the place! That's why college sports are the best, it's anyone's game, rankings don't matter.

I wasn't kidding. Too much to do and I couldn't watch any games so I had no idea who was playing.
 
I can't believe ectopic isn't here to talk about the upsets, he'll come by later I imagine.
 
Ectopic is probably taking care of the people that the goal post fell on. Although I don't know that it actually fell, and if it did, if it hurt anyone.

Worked the 1 to 10P shift.. Arizona won! WOW!!

Sadly the University of Felons (the Gators) beat The Ole Ball Coach.

Hopefully they choke. Awesome though that #3,4,5, and 8 lost this week INSANE!
 
maybe tomorrow ill add more.. i have to work early cause i switched shifts with some folks.

I was at one of our other sites. No college kids. Im sure it will be busy there tonite as people celebrate. Biggest win here in a long while.
 
The spurs won! Not really an upset but still, really, in my book, all that matters.

Thank goodness my boards are over! wOOt.. sadly, I am working the overnight so no celebrating with my fellow test takers. 🙁

Nice to see you back Roja! I'm sure your other test takers will celebrate for more than one night....or at least I would be.
 
Done studying for the day. Didn't get as much done as hoped, but still got more than the worst expectations were. Guess it was a productive day then.

Sadly, I am working sat and sun evening and then my week ramps up with masters stuff. 😱

So since she is breathing 50 times a minute and not really improving with nebs we send off some blood work including (as I think i said before) CMP, CBC, UA.

Also I decided on my own to send off a vbg as these are resulted faster. I didnt think an ABG was needed at this time.
 
off to work. Any other labs? This case is only interesting due to the unexpectedness of everything.
 
Why is it that getting started studying is the biggest chore? After I am going it's not that big of a deal, it's just getting there that I struggle with.

Can't help you there, because I can't get started or stay going...not very comforting I'll tell you that!

So FSBS 180s
 
So we send off a VBG for stat labs. Hgb 5.2 K of 6.7. I call the blood gas labs and ask them about hemolysis.. The nurse is not helpful..

Of course we already gave some Nebs and at this point with a FSBS up we decided to give some IV Insulin while we wait for the official labs.
 
Then we get some blood from the lab ready for transfusion (after consents and all).
 
Damn cruiser is proving to be more of a challenge everyday. I should've just invested like 5k and bought new mechanical everything. Oh well, I've saved more money than I thought.

But you are making fellows $$ which is a little better than straight up resident money.. At least thats usually the case.
 
I saw Borat.. Good but not great. first 2/3rds or so were funny the end not so much.. at least thats my take
 
lol.. i should get to 6k BY THEN ESP since Dec 15th thru Jan 1 i wont be too busy.
