Neener neener - I was in Charleston. Neener neener - I can drive to Charleston and you can't, at least not in under 15 hours.

You really don't have to brag about it...I'm sitting under ice and snow again. I hate the temperature changes I see in a week's time. One day it's 70 or 75 and in a day or two, it's around 0. Who can get used to this weather when it's constantly changing???
 
....so so sleepy...think I'll go to bed early and get up and work out. Trying to go 5 times a week can be a chore...
 
Hmmm...I'm still trying to decide whether I should keep my Case Western interview or not. I have one this week that I want to check out (Denver), and will have 14 to rank after it. To Case, or not to Case?

No, it would be a drive (a 6 hour one at that).
 
She doesn't really play much of a role in this since we decided not to couple's match. Don't think it's much of a favorite in either of our books. Location wise, there are many other places I'd rather be. I think my mind is already made up, I just hate to think I may be missing out on a great program.

Ah, ok. Well - it's 12 hours of driving and maybe 2 tanks of gas? Given all that you've invested in the process I'd say it's probably worth it - but what do I know?
 
I'll decide at some point tomorrow. I'm just so tired of the process. 😛 Thanks for helping me talk it out.

Don't do it. Seriously, unless you only have 1 program you really love, and think you're really going to love this one, there is no added benefit to ranking this one.
I mean, you're ending up at 1-3 with great odds.
Plus, it is Ohio.

Supposedly a great program. Do you want to live in Cleveland? and do you want to do another interview?
 
Could this be the year of the Colts? Thats my guess.... It is painful and hard to say no to the Pats and the sweater.
 
Dr Will if you can get out of Ortho do it.. or if you can get out either way... do it too.. FWIW 14 is a ton and while the program is great (from what i hear) but relax and get on cruise control and enjoy your 4th yr.
 
Went running again. Yay me! Side note: How do people get so flexible? I have never in my entire life been able to touch my toes. I've played sports my entire life and, as such, I have been stretching my entire life. Never been able to do it.

To be honest, at this point I'm just tired of interviewing. I know I'll match, and pretty sure I'll match well. And I'd love to get out of ortho for another couple of days...but at this point I think I'm done (well after Denver). Besides, I think I already have an Ohio program in my top 3. Two...that's overdoing it. 😛
 
Oh and considering tomorrow is MLK day, I'm hoping the department of surgery is closed...that means NO ORTHO for me! Considering I've gotten NO info as to when to meet (even though I'm sure I could figure it out). I'm going to call the office around 8am (and go in at 9 if it's open).

I was a gymnast for 10 years, so that helped. When I started doing yoga I became more flexible as well.
 
I was drying my hair this morning (which I rarely do) and wearing a short sleeved shirt (which I rarely do since it's winter and all) and I noticed something. My biceps are cut 🙂.

I think I found my Brutaine 😉.
 
So I didn't go to the hospital this morning. I've called twice and left messages, but no one got back to me whether I needed to go in today or not. So I didn't...and I'm leaving for three more days for my interview. This info was also left on the voicemail. I'm tired of this unorganized bs.

FWIW medicine all together is disorganized... Enjoy the day off. im off to bed.. im a little jacked right now cause we had a code come in early this am...

I find it kind of hard to come home and go directly to bed after working in the department overnight. I usually have to sit on the couch and unwind for a bit. Especially if you just had a code/trauma right before heading home.

I totally screwed the pooch with that 10:00 wake up. Apparently, because they didn't know how to schedule the labs for Bio. I had that lab today. It started at 9. 😱 I actually ran up to the lab with about half an hour left and asked them if I could join a later one. It must have been all the sweat dripping off of my face, because the TA said ya. I've deliberately skipped class many times, hell I've even skipped a test, but this was the first time that I forgot that I had a class.
