Pathologist Research Residency

I know of the internal medicine programs for MD/PhD's and now I notice that some pathology programs have a research investigator emphasis.

Anyone applying to path this year with this program in mind and have any positives or negatives to say about it?

I've been thinking of doing just AP without CP since I plan on staying in academics anyways, but this program is looking pretty nice.
