or maybe just give placement tests for everything.
Of course performance in high school is not a direct indicator of performance in college. You have to do the work to get good grades.
I could have taken a placement test for ICS 101 and probably pass with flying colors. Instead, I took the class, never went to class, did a minimum of work, actually skipped the midterm, and ended up with a D.
Needless to say, I will be taking that class again.

I think personally a lot of people don't deserve to be in college......
Someone after all has to pick up roadkill off the highways and package stuff in factories.....neither of which require formal education.
There are people that pick up roadkill? I figured most of it got run over so much that it just dissappeared after a while.
It's too bad mongooses/mongeese? aren't tasty. People would never go hungry here.

Well, if you have a healthy population of coyotes (or stray dogs) and vultures, yes.
But yeah, there are people who pick up roadkill for a living.....although some places tend to make convicts do it.

That's how I got out of taking undergrad psych and sociology. Didn't like the profs that taught them, and there were no other options. Small school 🙄 .

That's too bad. I keep hearing timing has a lot to do with the whole dating thing. I guess I've just had bad timing a lot over the past few years, when things just never materialize.
