It amazing how in touch some people are with their bodies.. maybe he does yoga prior or with his EtOH consumption.
It's actually not as bad here as it was in Sacramento. It's just that in the morning I'm single coverage so I get it with both barrels. Back in residency ther were residents too (I guess that goes without saying). Nothing annoys a drug seeker more than an intern's 45 minute H&P. We've got FP and IM residents rotating with us now. Maybe I should turn them loose on the seekers.BKN said:Hate to say this, but you don't have to work in addiction city.

I'm proud to say that I was not one of the aforementioned patients in your hospital, or any patient at all. Although I did spend several hours clutching a toilet in Caesar's Palace on Sunday morning.docB said:Honorable mention to the drunk with the BAC of 380 who periodically wakes up and moans in his slurred way for pain med'cin.
I also stopped by the infamous In-N-Out Burger on Tropicana Ave. Double-double burger, animal style fries, and a nice pile of grease dripping undeneath of it all. No wonder there is an EM residency inside the joint. Not gonna lie though; it was really damn good.
