Path's lead is shrinking..

I was the near victim of road rage from Dominique Moceanu's father in Houston back some 8 years ago. He used to own and run this big gymnastics complex about 5 miles from my house, and one day I was getting off the freeway and this guy barreled up from behind in an SUV and tried to go around me in a one way offramp. I could not move so he nearly hit the guardwall and then chased me to the light. He rolled his window down and started screaming at me and I said, "Hey, you're that a$$hole who's daughter was in the olympics....now I see why she hates your guts". He was so embarrassed and mad that he ran the red light and sped away. Either that or he was probably already on probation for his many other run-ins with the law. Its funny how you stay calm and collected and dish it back at the asshats when you have a legally concealed 40caliber in the visor!!! God I love some things about Texas! That was one thing I have to really credit Bush for doing.

It is true I am Jewish.. My people refers to my growing up in miami in the proverbial "hood"..
My buddy from HS and college was here, and he had been searching on myspace.com, and I looked at all these people and we frankly couldnt believe how different our lives are from theirs.. anyways.. i got majorly crunk last night..

Whoops. Double post.. Quite a party last night.. We went thru 5 liters of Vodka, a ton of Tequila, and 2 bottles of Scotch 😀

EM is such a great field, full of truly great folks, that it really is hard to screw up your ROL. Of course, as soon as you hit submit that last time, you'll be convinced you found a way. 🙂 The good news is that as you have time to digest it, you'll realize you did the right thing.

Plus, I think jealousy is the wrong word. When you retake the lead in about a week, us path folks may feel some sense of nostalgia much later when we recall the era of Pathology dominance on SDN.

It's interesting man, a lot of the residents who have been here for a while have told me that Boston winter this year has been quite mild. I do suspect that the weather will trend downward overall though. Can't wait until the spring when I can get back into ultimate frisbee and tennis again.EctopicFetus said:

Ah, another reason to scratch Texas off my list of places to list- as if my fiancee refusing to move more than 4 hrs from her family wasn't sufficient to kill most of my hopes for living somewhere nice until I enter medical school. 🙄
Oh well, she'll pay when I apply to medical school- I'm only applying places more than 8 hrs drive from the town she grew up in.
