Congrats with the end of your "interview season." However, Mr Phil saw his shadow, 6 more weeks of winter season.

Down here in the south we have General Lee (we just can't seem to let some things go)...he saw his shadow too. Then went back in for his breakfast of sausage and grits.

Man Jumps to Death From Empire State Bldg.
Feb 02 10:38 AM US/Eastern

A 21-year-old man jumped to his death from the Empire State Building, police said Thursday.

Dovid Abramowitz had bought a ticket to the 86th-floor observation deck but found his way to a vacant office on the 66th floor, where he jumped Wednesday afternoon, said police spokesman Lt. John Grimpel. His body was discovered on a sixth-floor landing.

Abramowitz, who lived in Manhattan, did not work in the building, said Detective John Sweeney. Sweeney did not know how the man reached the 66th floor office. Police also had no information on whether a suicide note was left behind.

More than 30 people have committed suicide at the building since it opened in 1931. Before Wednesday, the most recent was believed to have been in 2004, when a man jumped from the observation deck.

The 102-story skyscraper reaches 1,454 feet to the top of its lightning rod.

Yeah well done Praetorian! I'm gunning for 90+ for my anatomy course because I know I won't do as well in some of my other courses.

Yeah, I was shooting for a 90 on the test but I'll take an A- when its been 4 years since I took A+P. The instructor is a total b-tch, which is why I wanted to test out. 235 questions later, I walked into her office tossed the results on her desk and told her she had to keep her end of the bargain- "Can you please pull that stick out of your ass? I'll even go fire the tractor up for you."

On the eating contest circuit, Thomas is known as the "Black Widow," apparently because she has defeated so many larger men.

She holds numerous world eating records, including 46 dozen oysters in 10 minutes, 11 pounds of cheesecake in 9 minutes, 48 chicken tacos in 11 minutes, 37 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes and 56 hamburgers in 8 minutes.

Awesome!!

I totally agree. I don't know how you folks can handle "suicide attempts" that are like 3 tylenol.

Which test?

Have a PBL test, first one this semester, 6 cases total, as of now have finished 4 started 5,which means I have 23 chapters of physio (all circulatory, all cardaic, most of resp), 6 ch of biochem, 1 histo (cardiac), 2 path (1 begin chpt, 1 on blood) 1 embryo (cardiac) 1 genetics, 1 anatomy(heart & mediastinum) and 1 behavioral science; we will pick 4 or so more learning issues for the last 2 cases which means more physio and biochem....from the sounds of it probably kidney. Only good news is that cardiac have done (thank god for previous life, anatomy have done, did resp and embryo heart for Learning issue last semester so only have to reread that)........

ps I guess I could have broken that up for more +pad+ wasn't thinking, taking short study break and trying to keep renin-angiotensin straight in the brain.....

I am single and am glad for it during this whole matching process - I guess so I can be selfish and only worry about myself.
