Path's lead is shrinking..

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Your med school must be run by some religious group. Ours sponsors the alcoholism. It is a way to be closer to the patients.

There will be plenty of opportunities to go to lots of cool places. The AMA is in Vegas this November, and in Hawai'i next November. Maybe I can get a delegate spot.

Anyone want to vote for Ibn for RFS delegate? Beers on me at Mother's Too in Chicago. Or whatever your poison is.

That's awesome. I know some good places to go.

The paramedic textbook myself and a friend are working on is expanding in size faster than a malignant tumor with a rich blood supply.....

It's going to be like the damn Encyclopedia Brittanica for EMS

Although it might well serve as a reference for EM residents too....since we're including a lot of pathophysiology and other stuff that you don't typically see in EMS books

Which are written at the "See Spot code! Start CPR Bob. Pump, Bob, pump!" level

You say that like it is a bad thing.

I rode along a bus ride this week. Learned a few things.

1) I like riding in the fire truck more than in the bandaid box.

2) Lots more people who aren't sick call 911 more than they should.

3) They need to figure out how to make a better suspension in those new rigs.

4) 4 door boxes are pretty cool, but not very maneuverable.

Has anyone every heard of "lazy leukocyte syndrome"? It's on an old test, but it's NOT in the index of Robbins.

No, it's not the same as "bare lymphocyte syndrome" or whatever.

I wish I had lazy leukocytes. Instead of the "balls to the wall, causing respiratory distress and contact dermatitis" types.

Text to a classmate: "My boyfriend is making me mad. He's just so demanding of my time."

Her text back: "Dont' worry, he's spending the night with me."

For all those who missed it: Robbins is my boyfriend.

What, you don't have your WBCs trained? Mine can bark, fetch the paper, and rollover on command. You're just not trying hard enough.

I told him I'm not giving it up until he gets me an A in path, though.
