It's an almost-invariably positive sign. The only downer is if the girl has absolutely no redeeming virtues, such that looking at her/listening to her/smelling her/whatever does not even have one hook.

yah. well I've always thought of it like this:

like a bunch of guys and girls hang out in a clique.

But the clique is a facade for the underlying sexual tensions between the guys and girls.

it's a safe non-threatening, non-commital way for people to date.

eventuallly people hook up secretly

I would take it to mean that she wants to sleep with me. And I would attempt to take her back to my place and sabatoge any chance of a relationship.

Either with a strong urge to sleep with her, or a strong urge to run away (maybe from intimidation).

after how many dates is it "ok" for a girl to sleep with a guy?

I think that it takes at least a few dates. That's if you're looking for a relationship. Do many relationships last when 2 people sleep together the first time they meet? However, it is always situational.

I always ask that question. I was told by my brother (sadly, we were open about this stuff) that he knew his wife was a keeper when she held out on him for a really long time. Every other girl that he talked to that gave it to him in decent time he dumped.

Let's just say I've woken up with way too many bruises. I guess I'm kind in the day time, but I get all my anger out when I sleep.

according to my parents, they said I used to talk in my sleep as a kid.

no one else ever said that so I probably grew out of it
