I am going into my 5th year (of 6 year program) in NY. What should the average payrate be for a 5th year intern? Also, what should the average pay rate be for someone going into their 6th year rotations?

As a fifth year intern, I was paid $15.00 per hour in Las Vegas, Nevada. Going into my sixth year I was paid $16.00. It may be a bit higher in New York.

For rotations during my sixth year, I was paid nothing. As a matter of fact, I paid the University $920.00 per month while on rotations.

6th year on rotations = nothing! paid tuition!

This was the rate I was paid at my place of employment, not at a rotation site. We aren't allowed to use where we work for a rotation site.
