I am trying to decide what to do for experience that pays well. I have for the past 2.5 years worked in a mental facility and need to get more clinical experience with medical patients not just mental. I am needing the school or training to be fast and cheapish. I was thinking emt basic because its only 3 months and less then 1k. My concern is that the basic emt does lame calls getting no real experience, also that its horrible pay for me only being able to work part time. From what you have read is emt basic my best option? Is mental facilities enough experience, should i stay in that field until im ready to shadow due to higher pay on the mental side? Please help if you have been here or have any adivse thank you.

You don't have to have any paid medical work, just shadow and volunteer in the medical field. My paid work was as a server at a restaurant, but I had shadowing and volunteer experience.
If you like your job keep it and just get that shadowing.

I understand that i am moving so i have will have to job hunt good time to swich up fields get a little focused in the medical world. Im wondering what decent paying jobs are out there. is emt the best for time to get in and okayish pay. I am starting from scratch have 2 years of cc school to work a good app building job.
