I believe, like the guy above me said, IU's dental program is half PBL-based and half lecture based. It's not hard-core PBL like USC or Harvard. Plus the instructors at IU are more friendly towards their students than the instructors at USC.

Indiana is mostly traditional with a smattering of PBL during D1 & D2. It (thankfully) disappears pretty much completely during the clinical years.
