It's a multiple pages booklet.
Markers might vary depend on if you get a new or used..... but I thought they were about the thickness of regular sharpies.
And I got tissues as erasers.
Hope this helps 🙂

For me, it was a 5 page lamenated notebook. We got a black dry erase pen, and if we needed more space, we could get a new notebook. I really didn't use the notebook much, with the exception of quantitative.

I got a laminated notebook as well (10ish pages) and a black marker. Make sure that your marker works (maybe get 2), because mine died half way through my math section so I lost time having to get a new one.

Can someone explain to me what sort of scratch paper is given?

1) Is it a booklet with multiple transparent pages? Or is it a single dry eraser board?
2) How big/small are the marker tips?
3) What sort of eraser do they give you? Is it an actual eraser or do they simply give you tissues to wipe?

Thanks

you are NOT allowed to erase ANYTHING on the scratch paper. It was under my instructions booklet and some girl at my test site got her scores cancelled because she erased an entire page 👎

Very good point - Recoverer is actually right. I took mine last year and I think I got confused beause the proctor offered me some tissues in case I sneeze (room was semi cold)!

Hey guys, I took my PCAT on September 18th. For those who have taken the PCAT, for the erase board/notebook...did we have to put our name on it? I am getting paranoid and scared now because I didn't. I don't remember reading any instruction on putting our name on it. I just turned it to proctor after I was done with the exam. Could someone please let me know, I'm really worry. Thanks a bunch!

Yes. Your scores will be invalid if you don't put your name on the notebook. /sarcasm

In all seriousness, it doesn't matter. I didn't put my name on it. They'll just erase your work or burn the freaking thing lol.

Lesson learned. Always read the full post before having a heart attack haha 🙂

OMG...I freaked out too when I read the early part of his post! Lol, thanks guys...I feel so much more relieved now 🙂 So we dont have to write our name on the erase board but we are not allowed to erase anything from it (based on Recoverer's post)?

Yes. Except at my testing center the guy said I can erase a little bit if I needed to make things easier for me to think so I think it depends on how strick they are ......
