PCAT - how many people in your test group?

I was just wondering what the numbers were (appx) from other test groups. I just took the PCAT in Nacogdoches, TX and there were only 4 - yes FOUR - of us taking the test. They commented on how small the group was.

Just wondering if others seemed small also. Maybe a trend towards fewer future PharmDs? Or maybe just a fluke this time in our area. I'm probably just wishing for a little lighter competition to get into school.

This is the first time I have taken the test - but probably NOT the last!

There were 27 students in my group. It was supposed to be more, but 5-6 got too scared and didn’t show up. I was surprised as well by how not so many people came. I was thinking if my school needs to enroll 200 students where they gonna get them. Even if there is no competition 27x4 = 108. 😕

When I took it last October, there were 3 rooms with about 50 people each? There were so many taking the PCAT in my area, they had to open up another test center.

At my campus there were about 7 rooms with around 50 in each group. I was in houston and there were people from different schools. just in my room alone 2 people got kicked out of the test for cheating.

I think that there were 12 or 13 in Abilene. We had one no-show.

I think the answer lies in the fact that Texas has 13 testing sites. California has only four:

California has it bad... If you lived in the northern part of the state, say Eureka, then you are forced to travel either 300 miles to Eugene, OR or 350 miles to Reno, NV.
